The Department of Education and Training makes available reports and statistics relating to Queensland State Schools.
Enrolment and School Information
Geographical Information System
The Department takes two main snapshots of enrolment information during the year, February and August. The February snapshot provides information on schools at the commencement of the school year. The August snapshot provides information on schools later in the school year and is collected using nationally comparable methods and used for national reporting requirements.

The Department also collects the full time equivalent number of students as at the 8th day of the school year. This information is used as the basis for staffing schools.

Student Disciplinary Absences are collected and reported within the DET annual report for each financial year. The SDAs contained in the DET annual report represent the historical time series of SDA reporting. Tables from the DET annual report are available at 2009-2010, 2008-2009, 2007-2008
and 2006-2007
.
Schools are also required to report SDA in their School Annual Report, based on each school year. SDA information by school, region and the state, based on the school year, is provided for monitoring purposes.
