Teacher Awards
The Smart Classrooms Teacher Awards recognises teachers who have demonstrated innovation and excellence in their teaching and learning using ICT.
These awards are part of the annual Smart Classrooms Awards.
The event rewards the achievements of the state's most innovative and engaging teachers - all of whom are committed to their ongoing professional development and learning. The Smart Classrooms Awards also feature Customer Service Excellence Awards that recognises technical support staff providing outstanding service in state schools.
The winners and highly commended award recipients attended the Smart Classrooms Awards ceremony at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 30 August 2012 to collect their awards.
All winners received a $5000 grant to allow them to extend their professional development by attending conferences or courses that extend their understanding and practices in ICT in the area of education.
