Contemporary Practice Resource

The Contemporary Practice Resource features information, resources and teaching ideas to support the effective use of ICT in contemporary classrooms.

What is it?

Written by teachers for teachers, this resource supports the implementation of the Ausralian Curriculum in contemporary classrooms. Three sections make up the Contemporary Practice Resource:

Contemporary schools - Consistent and whole-school approaches to support contemporary teaching and learning practices.

Teaching ideas - Ideas and skills to help teachers use ICT effectively in the curriculum.

Resource banks - Resources, strategies and tips to support blended learning in the classroom, that complement teaching ideas.

How should it be used?

The Contemporary Practice Resource provides practical ideas to improve teaching and learning through the effective use of ICT. Curriculum examples are supported with practical resources and templates, as well as teaching tips for effective classroom management.

The resource can be used to enhance curriculum planning, support the professional learning of staff or to inform whole-school approaches to teaching and learning.
