The Learning Place - student spaces
The Learning Place is a learning environment for discovering, connecting, sharing and growing new ideas and knowledge.
It has two different areas:
The student spaces allow students to discover new digital tools, resources and spaces created by their teachers to support seamless learning between school, work, home and play.
There are three different phases of the Student Space:
- Early
- Middle
- Senior
Students are automatically directed to their appropriate phase site for their age.
From consumers to creators
Students have more flexibility and choice over how and when they learn and move from being consumers of information to creators and publishers of new knowledge.
The Learning Place digital environment gives students a new 'voice' by enabling them to collaborate, create, share, innovate and publish. Teachers manage all student work within the Learning Place.
Student profile
Students can add their own personal touches by creating an avatar, applying different themes and changing the 'look and feel' of their site.
