Laptop nearing three years of age?

This means that when your laptop nears the end of its warranty, it will be replaced with a new machine - the model will be determined at the time of distribution.
The new laptops will feature a new three-year warranty and laptop accessories.
When your school's current Computers for Teachers fleet is due for replacement, the laptop supplier will be in contact.
The supplier will let your school know when the new laptops will be delivered.
The Computers for Teachers team will email your school with information, including:
- instructions on how to transfer the new laptops as school assets in OneSchool
- a spreadsheet that needs to be completed to dispose of the old laptops
Importantly, when your school receives the new laptops, all old machines must be cleared of old data.
Before doing that, your school needs to back up data on all laptops to the school IT network if necessary and then restore them to their original state.
Your old laptops will be collected for disposal approximately four weeks after receiving your new laptop allocation.
The boxes the new laptops come in should be used to repackage the old machines (and all accessories provided by the department).
