To quicken the timeframe for warranty laptop repairs, the Service Centre may ask you to take several simple diagnostic steps before they log the job with the supplier.
These steps will help the supplier to send appropriate resources to quickly resolve the issue.
Repair timeframe for PC laptops
The supplier should carry out on-site repairs within one business day or provide a loan-pool laptop within two business days of you logging the warranty job with the Service Centre.
Repair timeframe for Dell laptops
The supplier for Dell laptops should carry out on-site repairs within two business days. If repairs are unable to be completed within two business days of the warranty job being logged with the Service Centre, the supplier will provide a replacement hot swap device.
Repair timeframe for Apple MacBooks
Apple provides on-site warranty repairs in major population centres.
Next business day service is available within 80 kilometres of:
- Brisbane
- Southport
- Maroochydore.
Third business day service is provided for:
- locations within 81 to 100 kilometres of:
- Brisbane
- Southport
- Maroochydore
- locations within 100km of:
- Bundaberg
- Cairns
- Gladstone
- Hervey Bay
- Mackay
- Rockhampton
- Toowoomba
- Townsville.
Fifth business day service is provided to all other locations.
