eLab
Overview
A team within the Learning Technologies unit, eLab conducts trials on new and emerging technologies to evaluate whether they fit with a school learning environment. The technology evaluated may be specific hardware, a software solution or a concept which uses ICT within its core functionality.
eLab helps schools take the guess work out of what current and emerging products best suit their teaching, learning and business requirements.
School trials previously conducted by the team include Apple iPads and NextG laptops.
Schools will be informed of upcoming opportunities to participate in trials and research projects through an expression of interest process. These opportunities will be advertised through the Smart Classrooms newsletter or through your regional technology manager.
