Managed Operating Environment
Version 3.0 of the MOE is now available to schools and corporate offices. To find out more, departmental staff should visit the ICT Service Catalogue in OnePortal.
The Managed Operating Environment (MOE) is a cornerstone of the department's Enterprise Platform.
MOE comprises a standard range of software, hardware and network devices that is tested to guarantee performance and interoperability.
It provides centralised support through the ICT Service Centre, and centralised management enabling, for example, the remote installation of software such as virus protection.
MOE creates efficiencies in the delivery of technical support, the maintenance of workstations and sustained ICT growth for the department, and is automatically installed on new desktop computers purchased under the department's panel arrangements.
