Parkhurst embraces 21st century learning

Digital Pedagogy Licence

If you are embracing digital pedagogy, the licence is for you.

Its indicators outline how you can leverage digital pedagogy to improve teaching and learning.

How the licence can benefit you

The Digital Pedagogy Licence asks you to articulate your values and beliefs about how today's students learn, and how you can cater to their needs as digital age learners.

To gain accreditation, you need to illustrate, through samples of your unit/program planning and student work, that you understand how contemporary education looks and feels in a connected and collaborative setting.

Seeking accreditation with the licence is a chance to make meaningful links with your colleagues, so you can share a learning journey that is intellectually challenging and satisfying.

It's an opportunity to reflect on your pedagogy and strive for excellence.

Also, it's a way to demonstrate to your school community that, like them, you are a lifelong learner.

Postgraduate credit available

Once you gain Digital Pedagogy Licence accreditation, you can undertake an additional assessment task to gain academic credit through the department's Professional Development Pathways initiative.
