Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced indicators

The Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced indicators outline leadership in transforming learning and schooling.

Teachers seeking advanced licence accreditation need to demonstrate that their pedagogy aligns with these indicators.

Professional Values

As a life-long learner, I set my own short and long term learning goals based on regular reflection of my own professional practice and determined needs. I devise and enact a plan to achieve these

I collaborate with staff and/or students to critically reflect on and evaluate the learning opportunities and implications of digital resources, technologies and environments. I operate safely, legally, ethically and in accordance with departmental policy when using digital resources, technologies and online environments. I teach and model these practices with students and colleagues

Professional Relationships

I seek opportunities to improve my digital pedagogy through participating in and contributing to professional learning networks

I take responsibility to contribute to school planning and decision making processes influencing the standard of digital pedagogy in my school

I support, advise and mentor colleagues to innovate and excel in teaching and learning with ICT

Professional Knowledge

I understand how ICT can transform practice and influence what students learn, how they learn, and when and where their learning takes place

Professional Practice

I create authentic opportunities for students to demonstrate local and global citizenship through participation in collaborative online projects and communities

I develop students' reflective learning, critical thinking skills and creativity through innovative digital pedagogy
I enhance students' knowledge creation and integration through inquiry processes and challenging curriculum tasks using digital resources and technologies

To meet diverse learning needs and curiosities, I negotiate with students opportunities for them to demonstrate active management of personalised learning and assessment

I enable students to extend and refine their digital literacies and independently apply skills to authenticate, critically evaluate and select relevant information and resources
