Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced: work towards

If you hold a Digital Pedagogy Licence, think about progressing to advanced licence accreditation.

Because the advanced licence recognises teachers who lead their colleagues in embracing digital pedagogy, you need to show that you are doing this before you can gain advanced licence accreditation.

Talk with your principal or curriculum leader

Work with them to help you confirm the suitability of the Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced to you. Also, carefully read the information available on this website - especially the advanced licence indicators.

Submit an expression of interest

When you and your principal are committed to working towards your Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Notify your intent in the myframework application (only accessible on the DET network) and follow the prompts to select a pathway.

Step 2: Lodge your expression of interest by emailing the PDFramework team.

Step 3: Submit your expression of interest (EOI) via the myframework application myframework application. You will also need to add your EOI to an eSpace, and provide the Smart Classrooms Professional Development team with the access details when prompted.

Take part in the online community

You will be notified when your EOI has been reviewed and invited into the advanced learning community.

This community will help you reflect on your teaching principles, pedagogy and leadership practices around digital pedagogy.

It will support you in constructing your advanced licence digital portfolio, a key requirement for Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced accreditation.

Think of this portfolio as an extension of the one you developed for Digital Pedagogy Licence accreditation.

Construct a digital portfolio

You need to construct a digital portfolio demonstrating that your pedagogy aligns with the Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced indicators.

The content and format of your digital portfolio needs to follow a set of guidelines.

When you have constructed your portfolio and have actively participated in the advanced licence web community, you are ready to seek Digital Pedagogy Licence Advanced accreditation.
