I'm already working towards the former ICT Pedagogical Licence
If you started working towards the former ICT Pedagogical Licence before June 2009, you have a choice of using the updated indicators and accreditation process, or the former indicators and process.
The updated licence indicators and accreditation process apply to everyone, even if you started your licence journey under the former ICT Pedagogical Licence.
That's because the updated indicators do not change the intent of what it means to be a licence holder.
If you've already started to construct your digital portfolio using the former indicators, please continue to use them. Simply let your portfolio reviewer know that you are using the former indicators within the context statement of your digital portfolio.
The accreditation process has not significantly changed. Among the minor changes is the disbanding of submission dates. Now, you forward your digital portfolio for review when you are ready. Also, you are now mentored on your journey toward licence accreditation by accredited facilitators.
The only significant change is that you will receive a Digital Pedagogy Licence, not an ICT Pedagogical Licence, when you gain accreditation.
