ICT Certificate

The ICT Certificate acknowledges teachers who understand how learners can use ICT purposefully. Engaging with the ICT Certificate:

Step 2: Plan a digitally-rich unit of work

Step 3: Present how the digitally-rich unit would benefit learners within your context

Whether conducting a professional conversation or developing a digital portfolio, include the following elements:

Which way is for you?

A professional conversation can be integrated into curriculum planning meetings, Developing Performance planning or even undertaken at a staff meeting. While it can be completed individually, when it is undertaken by a teaching team, the conversation promotes the sharing of professional values, knowledge and practice while building relationships. A digital portfolio is ideal for teachers where the ICT Certificate is their first step in their journey to the Digital Pedagogy Licence. The digital portfolio for the ICT Certificate can simply be expanded to meet Licence expectations by including reflection on, and evidence of, the implementation of digitally-rich units and a statement of support from the principal. Who can accredit an ICT Certificate?

A principal, their delegate or a Digital Pedagogy Licence holder can review an ICT Certificate.

Both the teacher seeking accreditation and the ICT Certificate reviewer will need to navigate through the myframework application to complete the certification process.

You will be notified of your success by email. Your principal will also receive an email, acknowledging your accreditation with the ICT Certificate.

The ICT Certificate is a stepping stone towards accreditation with the Digital Pedagogy Licence.
