Buddina swoops on ICT Certificate
When Buddina State School principal Greg Summers set his teachers an expectation to apply for ICT Certificate by the end of 2008, they jumped at the chance.

So much so that three months before the year's end, 42 teachers had already undertaken the professional development they needed to feel confident enough to lodge their applications.

ICT Certificate: seek accreditation

Once you have finished working towards accreditation, simply follow these steps.

Step 1: Talk with your principal or curriculum leader

Find out who will review your evidence. This person, who will be a Digital Pedagogy Licence holder, may work at your school or at another in your school cluster. Also, they might work in conjunction with a curriculum leader in your school.

Step 2: Compile your evidence

Within a Microsoft Word document or similar, show that your pedagogy aligns with the ICT Certificate indicators. To do this, include your:

Present your evidence to your reviewer.

Hint!

The accreditation process for the ICT Certificate is managed within schools or school clusters. To award accreditation, each school will need a staff member who is an ICT Certificate reviewer. Or, they can be allocated a cluster reviewer by their Regional Technology Manager.
