ICT Curriculum Integration Course
The ICT Curriculum Integration Course is ideal if you are seeking Digital Pedagogy Licence accreditation.
What is it?
The course is an online professional development program that can help you explore the role of ICT in your pedagogy.
It does not teach ICT skills.
The course runs for 10 weeks. It is offered online, in a facilitated mode, with weekly participation required.
- In the first six weeks, you will enhance your understanding about the role of ICT in teaching and learning. You will also learn how this relates to the Digital Pedagogy Licence.
- In the final four weeks, you will reflect on and document your pedagogy. You will also work towards creating your application for the Digital Pedagogy Licence.
- The break between blocks will give you time to demonstrate your understanding of concepts learned in the course. The course is not facilitated during the break.
During the course, participants devote five hours a week to learning.
This time does not take into account the construction of a digital portfolio.
Also, this time may vary depending on Internet access speed and each participant's previous experience with online learning.
What's in it for me?
The course can help you explore and clarify your understanding of how to facilitate effective teaching and learning through ICT.
By undertaking it, you will plan learning experiences that effectively use digital pedagogy.
Ideally, add these learning experiences to your digital portfolio.
