Dream Factory

Queensland state schools can unite and share ideas on making best use of technologies in education by connecting with the Dream Factory.
The Dream Factory is a team of educators with recent teaching experience and a passion for exploring and supporting educational innovation in state schools.
Members of the team draw on specialists in the department, such as IT technicians and assistive technology experts, to offer guidance and support to schools.
Departmental staff can visit the Dream Factory edStudio to discover:

  • resources and information about a range of topics, including Makerspaces, Eye Gaze Assistive Technology, Flipped Classroom, Programming and Coding, and more;
  • upcoming professional development, competitions, and community events relating to digital technologies; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics; and programming and coding; and
  • the team's Digital Fact Sheets which review emerging technologies and provide tips and tricks for use in the classroom.
