Executive Leaders

Executive leaders in the Department of Education, Training and the Arts include Senior Executive Service Officers, Senior Officers, and Regional Executive Directors and Executive Directors (Schools). The role of these officers is central to the Department achieving its strategic objectives and delivering commitments of the Queensland Government and the Minister of Education, Training and the Arts.

Executive Leaders are responsible for the highest level planning and strategic implementation of key accountabilities in their area, as well as playing a critical role in jointly enhancing core business of the Department.

Professional development opportunities for executive leaders include programs offered through the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG External Link ), the Director-General's Senior Public Service Excellence Bursary, Office of the Public Service Commisioner (OPSC External Link ) Senior Executive Service Program.
