Executive Leaders

Executive leaders in the department include senior executive service (SES) officers, senior officers (SO), regional directors and assistant regional directors. These officers play a central role in ensuring the department achieves its strategic objectives and meets the commitments of the Queensland Government and the Minister for Education and the Minister for Training and Skills.

Executive leaders are responsible for the highest level planning and strategic implementation of key accountabilities in their area, as well as playing a critical role in jointly enhancing core business of the department.

The Public Service Commission offers professional development opportunities for executive leaders and more information is available in the department's Professional Development Calendars.
