Director-General's Senior Public Service Excellence Bursary

The Director-General's Senior Public Service Excellence Bursary is a scholarship available as part of the Public Sector Professional Excellence initiative.

The bursary recognises exemplary practice by senior public servants (classified at either AO8, SO) in the Department of Education, Training and Employment (DETE) and has been jointly funded by a substantial donation from the Queensland Institute of Senior Education Officers (QISEO) and DETE.

Two officers annually will receive a bursary up to the value of $10,000 to undertake study/travel (of their choice) to further their knowledge and skills in a field directly connected to the delivery of educational programs and services.

Selection of bursary winners is based on the following or similar criteria:

Applications for the 2012 Director-General's Senior Public Service Excellence Bursary have now closed.

Recipients of the 2012 Bursary will be announced in the coming weeks.
