Enhancing Leadership
This course is available to all staff and is particularly useful to:
Participants work individually or in small groups to develop and enhance their personal and leadership capabilities.
Human Resource Management - Leading and Developing your People
This course primarily supports principals who are new to the role, and those aspiring to school leadership positions. It is divided into six modules, which use scenarios to focus on key areas of the HR strategy:
Developing Performance Framework:
Conflict Resolution
This facilitated online course includes materials and activities to build participants' understanding of the conflict cycle, ladder of inference, perceptual positions, difficult behaviours, conflict resolution processes and strategies as well as the benefits of constructive conflict. (4-5 weeks)
Leading Workplace Cultural Change
This is a facilitated online discussion that involves readings and the sharing of practical actions and strategies to effect workplace cultural change. Participants engage in discussions regarding leadership and culture in a Developing Performance context. Topics include:
Building Team Leader Capability
This online facilitated course has been developed for team leaders who are responsible for implementing the Developing Performance Framework in their school or workplace and/or facilitating Developing Performance conversations with team members. It is a self-paced, interactive course focused on preparing Developing Performance Framework team leaders for their role. To register, access the course calendar on the Learning Place.
Mentoring
This course introduces key concepts about mentoring. It is for anyone who is interested in broadening their knowledge and understanding of what mentoring means and how it can be carried out effectively within an organisational context. The course develops both theoretical and practical understandings of the 'what', 'how' and 'why' of mentoring.
