Behaviour Support

Teacher Aides can access information and courses in behaviour support through the Behaviour - A School-wide approach to creating a safe, supportive and disciplined school website.

This site provides information about key elements of the Department's strategy for providing a safe and supportive learning environment for students and staff in state schools, including:

The Department employs 330 full-time-equivalent (FTE) trained behaviour support personnel, including teachers, guidance officers, psychologists, teacher aides and parent liaison officers who are allocated across the state according to school needs.
