Professional Development Pathways
The Professional Development Pathways initiative provides Department of Education and Training state school leaders and teachers with the opportunity to gain academic credit for postgraduate qualifications.
Participants who have completed one of the professional development programs in this initiative, may decide to register in the Professional Development Pathways to undertake the formal assessment. The assessments are marked by one of the participating Higher Education Institutions. Successful participants are provided with a voucher for academic credit towards a Masters or similar postgraduate degree.
This initiative supports the Department's commitment by encouraging staff to build and develop their capacity across key priority areas. Participants who register in Professional Development Pathways benefit by having the opportunity to gain credit for postgraduate recognition.
