Professional Learning Hubs

Four Professional Learning (PL) Hubs were established in 2016 as a key action of the Advancing education: An action plan for education in Queensland. The Human Resources Strategy 2017-2021 identifies the importance of programs that focus on improving professional learning and leadership. The Professional Learning Hubs provide support for beginning and new teachers in the identified locations to make a difference to the quality of learning on the job.

Each PL Hub has a Director who leads a specific focus driven by the agreed professional learning program to prepare teachers for the relevant regional and local context.
