The department has developed the Restart Teaching program for fully registered teachers who:
Restart Teaching is a QCT accredited RTT program.
Restart Teaching is a 30-hour, professional development program, comprising four online modules.
The program will help returning teachers understand the current curriculum frameworks, teaching and learning practices, and legislative and legal responsibilities that are central to their work with students in contemporary school settings.
Participants will work with an experienced online facilitator to complete the program.
To receive a certificate of completion, all mandatory activities must be completed within the 13 week duration of the course.

Please note that places in the first intake, beginning Term 2, 2012, have already been filled.
We are currently accepting expressions of interest for future programs from departmental employees with the RTT condition for 2012. Please follow this link to our registration form.
Priority will be given to teachers who are permanently appointed to an Education Queensland state school to ensure staffing requirements are met.
