The department has developed the Restart Teaching program for fully registered teachers who:
Restart Teaching is a QCT accredited RTT program.
Restart Teaching is a 30-hour, professional development program, comprising four online modules.
The program will help returning teachers understand the current curriculum frameworks, teaching and learning practices, and legislative and legal responsibilities that are central to their work with students in contemporary school settings.
The program may also benefit teachers who don't have the RTT condition, but who are interested in completing the program for professional development purposes.
Participants will work with an experienced online facilitator to complete the program.
To receive a certificate of completion, all mandatory activities must be completed within the 13 week duration of the course.

The program cost is $440 (including GST). An email will be sent to successful applicants outlining payment options.
All Education Queensland state school teachers with the RTT condition
against their registration are encouraged to express their interest for future intakes via the registration form.
Teachers who are interested in completing the Restart Teaching program for professional development purposes are also encouraged to express their interest in the next program via the registration form.
The next intake will begin on Monday 5 August 2013.
