Strategic partnerships maximise professional development opportunities for employee groups across the State. These partnerships enhance access to professional development opportunities and the quality of those programs.
The department is continuing to work with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) as a leadership and capability development professional provider through the Pre-Qualified Provider (PQP) panel and there is an opportunity to further maximise these benefits of corporate membership partnership arrangements.
The Queensland Public Service Commission (PSC) has secured a new whole-of-government arrangement to build sector-wide management and leadership capability.
All DET employees can continue to access professional development and resources through the AIM corporate membership partnership arrangement through PSC's QLD Government Corporate Membership.
In addition, a membership portal available from the AIM website provides access to an up-to-date collection of management resources covering topics such as leadership, people management, strategy, personal and career development, customer relations and organisational performance.
For more information about DET/PSC's QLD Government Corporate Membership with AIM, please contact the Leadership and Capability team, HR on (07) 3513 6572.
