Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service ![]()
The 1 January 2011 version of the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service replaces all previous codes of ethics or conduct issued by Queensland Public Service agencies pursuant to the Public Service Ethics Act 1994
The new single code of conduct assists in supporting ethical behaviour and expectations across government. Section 4 - Accountability and Transparency is relevant to implementation of the Developing Performance Framework.
Valuing Performance Policy Statement
The statement outlines the department's vision for a workplace culture in which every employee understands how their work contributes to departmental achievements, takes ownership of their performance development, feels valued and is provided with opportunities and resources to grow as a professional in their field.

Education Queensland Professional Standards for Teachers
Education Queensland's Professional Standards for Teachers define the knowledge, skills and abilities to apply to all teachers in state education in Queensland, celebrating, articulating and supporting the complex and varied nature of a teacher's work.
Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
The Standards promote excellence in teaching and provide a nationally consistent basis for recognising quality teaching. They make explicit what teachers should know, be able to do and what is expected of effective teachers across their career. The Standards support the Melbourne Declaration of Educational Goals for Young Australians and the National Partnership on Improving Teacher Quality.
Capability and Leadership Framework (CLF)
The Queensland Public Service Capability and Leadership Framework demonstrates capabilities required of public service employees at all levels, across all agencies and departments. The CLF does not apply to teachers and school leaders.
