The TJ Ryan Memorial Scholarship Awards were re-introduced by the Queensland Government to encourage school students, especially from groups under-represented in public life, to consider careers of service.
1971-1992 TM no awards were made
1927 to 1970
The T J Ryan Memorial Scholarship award was made to the top student in the state Scholarship Examination. With the demise of the Scholarship Examination, the award was then granted for the Junior Examination, but ended with the phasing out of public examinations.
