The Standards for professional development

The Standards for professional development 387k �affirm the Department's commitment to the professional growth and learning of all employees, and to valuing and respecting their professionalism, contribution and aspirations. They are intended to:

support the planning, development and delivery of quality professional development across the Department
help the organisers of professional development in schools, TAFE institutes, regions and business units to create safe, healthy learning environments where individuality is valued, recognised and utilised.

By using the Standards, organisers of professional development can ensure that employees have access to the learning they need to support both current and future priorities and goals, and help to build a high-performing, futures-oriented workplace.
