When considering the development of workshops for schools it is important to consider the purpose of the professional development.

All professional development workshops need thoughtful planning and preparation. The audience may include administrators, school leaders or general teaching staff and each of these groups may require very different forms of presentation. Presentations related to change may require a strategic approach to support individual staff as they shift their practice towards the contemporary education context aligned with current policies and government priorities.
