The School Improvement and Accountability Framework (SIAF) provides the policy framework which guides the annual and triennial planning and reporting requirements for state schools. This framework guides schools to achieve and sustain the vision and objectives of Queensland State Education-2010, the reforms of the Education and Training Reforms for the Future agenda and the outcomes and targets of Destination 2010.
A major revision was undertaken during 2006 and SIAF is now inclusive of the full range of planning, reviewing and reporting agendas which are impacting on schools, including the Australian Government requirements for student and school reporting.
In summary, the SIAF document now comprises the following:
Also included in SIAF are a number of Appendixes which provide assistance to schools with their planning and reviewing processes.
