Provider registration

Registration process

The registration process (new window) 83k Adobe PDF document involves two stages. The first is approval through the State Authority. This takes a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks depending on the quality of application received. Once approved, the State Authority notifies DEST who then finalises the registration process. Only then is a provider issued with a CRICOS number and able to offer courses to students entering Australia on a student visa.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have applied for accreditation but it is not yet finalised, you can apply to the State Registration Authority to commence the CRICOS registration process, but, you need to clearly indicate this on your application.

Your application cannot be finalised until accreditation is complete
