Support Groups and Associations

Parents of children in Queensland schools can access information and support from associations established to represent the needs of families and communities

The Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens' Associations Inc is a community organisation which represents the interests of state school parents and citizen associations.
The Isolated Children's Parents' Association provides support, advice and advocacy for parents in isolated communities throughout Queensland.
Playgroup Queensland provides support and networks for parents of young children prior to starting school.
Disability Services Queensland provides information on the support services available to families.
Queensland Association for Gifted and Talented Children provides support and advice to families with children who are gifted or talented.
