Support Groups and Associations

Parents of children in Queensland schools can access information and support from associations established to represent the needs of families and communities

• The Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens' Associations Inc is a community organisation which represents the interests of state school parents and citizen associations.
  
• The Isolated Children's Parents' Association provides support, advice and advocacy for parents in isolated communities throughout Queensland.
  
• Playgroup Queensland provides support and networks for parents of young children prior to starting school.
  
• Disability Services Queensland provides information on the support services available to families.
  
• Queensland Association for Gifted and Talented Children provides support and advice to families with children who are gifted or talented.
