Early Childhood Interest Groups

Education Queensland recognises that a range of key early childhood education stakeholder groups exist across the state. These groups provide advocacy and support for teachers, early childhood professionals, school administrators and parents.

Education Queensland values partnerships with key stakeholder groups. Their contribution to the richness of the early childhood field and their continued discussion on early childhood education issues builds a diverse early childhood community.

Early Childhood Networks

Staff in the Early Phase of Learning team are keen to include early childhood networks as part of their broader learning community and communication network. Existing networks are encouraged to register their contact details with the team by telephoning +61 7 3237 0965 or +61 7 3237 0312.

Early childhood educators seek professional support from colleagues through the formation of formal and informal networks. Many networks are geographically determined while others may be based around a specific area of education or affiliation with a particular organisation.

Discussion List

The Queensland Education Department hosts a number of discussion lists (new window). They are provided for staff to share ideas and provide a communication path on special and ongoing projects and everyday areas of the department. A discussion list operates for those interested in the P-3 area of schooling.
