Key Changes to the EAP Profile

The revised EAP Profile replaced the previous EAP Profile from the beginning of Semester 2 2009.

The EAP Profile was revised to replace both the EAP Profile and the Beginning School Profile to ensure it is:

quicker and easier to complete
more easily understood
able to be used for students from Prep to Year 12
strategically linked to the Queensland Curriculum Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) Framework.

The Beginning School Profile (BSP) has been discontinued.

From Semester 2 2009 students with a verified disability and a current EAP profile will transition to the revised EAP profile as their profile review date nears its expiry date.

This presentation outlines the background to the review of the Education Adjustment Program Profile, the review process and the outcomes of the review. The revised EAP Profile was available on Adjustment Information Management System (AIMS) from 13 July 2009.

Timeline for Key Changes

Early 2009	Beginning School Profile functionality deactivated on AIMS.
Semester 1 2009	Current EAP Profile functionality continues to be available on AIMS.
End of Semester 1 2009	The revised EAP Profile activated on AIMS replacing the current EAP Profile.
Semester 2 2009	All Beginning School Profiles were updated using the revised EAP Profile.
Semester 2 2009 - onwards	Any existing EAP Profiles to be updated to the new revised EAP Profile as specified by the profile review date or as needed.
