2008 Allied Health (Therapy) Scholarships

The Department of Education, Training and The Arts (DETA) is offering scholarships to allied health students studying physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology courses.

This is the second year in which DETA will offer these exciting scholarships with a total of twenty-one scholarships valued at $7500 each available this year.

DETA is inviting applications from full-time, final year university students if they are:

The Department strives to lay strong educational foundations for all children and adolescents including those with disabilities, and welcomes applications from allied health students who are willing to work in specified Education Queensland schools following graduation.

Successful applicants will be guaranteed a position with the Department of Education, Training and the Arts and are bonded for a period of one (1) year.
