The Department of Education, Training and Employment is offering up to 25 scholarships including financial incentives and the opportunity for permanent employment, to high achieving final year pre-service teachers who are currently completing an approved undergraduate or postgraduate pre-service teacher education program in Semester 2, 2011.
Applications are invited from pre-service teachers who have specialised in one or more of the following high demand curriculum areas:
Applicants must be committed to teaching in a rural or remote location for a minimum of two years (commencing Semester 1, 2012) in one of the following regions:
