Local Community Partnerships (LCPs)

LCPs are an initiative of the Australian Government's Department of Education, Science and Technology (DEST) as part of the Career Advice Australia initiative. There is a network of over 215 LCPs across Australia, 56 of which are in Queensland.

The primary function of LCPs is to provide workplace opportunities to students to assist them make a successful transition through school, and from school to further education, training, employment and active participation in the community.
