2010 Student Work Placement Data Survey The 2010 student work placement data will be collected in February 2011 via the e-SMART electronic survey tool. Schools with students aged 14 years and over will receive an email message inviting their responses by the designated due date.

Only persons falling within certain categories of employment or business regulated by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 (Qld) require a blue card. Categories of business regulated by the Act
The Act does not apply to children under 18 who are volunteers, unless the child is a "trainee student" in regulated employment as part of a course of study with an "education provider" as defined in the Act.
