Roles and responsibilities (new window) 133k Adobe PDF document

This booklet and the publication Support Materials for Training and Professional Development have been designed to provide schools with a 'stand alone' information and training package to support continued implementation of the Year 2 Diagnostic Net.

This booklet addresses the following five-step process for implementing the Year 2 Diagnostic Net:

1. Mapping
2. Validation
3. Moderation
4. Intervention
5. Reporting

It also includes advice on managing resources.

The publications Principles of Effective Learning and Teaching (Department of Education, Queensland 1994) and Principles of Inclusive Curriculum (Department of Education Manual) act as a framework for the ongoing improvement of teaching practices and learning outcomes.

The series of training sessions included in the Support Materials publication is designed to meet the training and professional development needs of school personnel.
