When developing whole-school intervention plans, schools need to consider all available resources financial, human and physical to ensure that the needs of all students are met.
The key teacher time allocation is provided to support the key teacher in his/her role. In addition, there is a key teacher grant which may be used to cover the costs of photocopying, resources and stationery required by the key teacher.
Principals, deputy principals, support teachers (learning difficulties), key teachers and teachers of Years 1, 2 and 3 should each have a Year 2 Diagnostic Net box. Permanent part-time teachers should share a box. Year 2 Diagnostic Net materials remain the property of the school.
Boxes should be collected at the end of each school year and stored for redistribution at the beginning of the new school year.
For a listing of contents of the Year 2 Diagnostic Net box, refer to Catalogue.
