Purpose

The purpose of this session is to analyse the developmental sequence of the organising frameworks Operations and Computations and Working Mathematically with Numbers in the Number Developmental Continuum. Participants will also have an opportunity to practise modifying learning experiences to cater for different learning needs.

Participants will:

be familiar with Year 2 Diagnostic Net terminology;
analyse specific learning episodes;
identify links between the continuum and the syllabus;
enhance their skills in adapting learning programs to cater for individual needs.
