Parents apply for an exemption from compulsory participation (new window) 45k
if, for a period of more than 10 consecutive school days, the young person can not participate in any eligible option or it would be unreasonable to require the young person to participate in any eligible option.
Two forms have been developed to assist all school and district office staff when either making decisions or providing advice about exemptions from *compulsory schooling (new window) 70k
