Housing

The Department of Communities (Housing and Homelessness Services) , through its Homelessness Programs, funds community organisations to provide accommodation and support services for homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless.

The 'Contact Homeless Persons Information Queensland' service found on this website provides information about the range of services available to young people at risk of homelessness including:

• housing
• advice and support
• practical assistance such as where to get meals, showers and clothing.
