Transport

There are a number of transport options for young parents to consider when travelling to school or child care services with their child.

Most public transport options such as trains, buses and taxis, are accessible for people with prams. Check with your local council for details.

Many parents find travelling by car the easiest and safest option. From 11 March 2010, it became law for all children up to seven years of age to be correctly restrained whilst travelling in motor vehicles according to their size and age.
