Religious Diversity

Queensland is a dynamic and diverse society with many cultures, languages and religions. People from all over the world have come to call Queensland home, bringing with them a broad range of experiences, skills and customs.

According to the 2006 data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Queensland has religious representation from over 13 different religions including:

Queensland state schools support religious diversity by providing instruction and support for those in a particular faith group in three ways:

Student Services provides strategic policy advice and guidance to schools in implementing these programs.
