Religious Instruction is available to students in Queensland state schools when Religious denominations or societies that have right of entry at a school site provide a religious program for their members and other students who have parental consent.
Education Queensland's policy SCM-PR-021: Religious Instruction in School Hours details the processes, responsibilities and procedures to be followed by schools and faith groups in the provision of religious instruction in Queensland state schools.
A number of fact sheets have been developed to provide further advice to schools, parents and faith groups.
