Implementation

Skill team members

Skilling of all team members in appropriate teaching strategies and monitoring activities may be required.

Implementation and data collection

All programs should be implemented as agreed by the team. Data collected should be the minimum necessary to provide regular, effective program monitoring.

Monitor progress and modify programs

Collecting the data provides the means for assessing student progress and program effectiveness. Careful interpretation of the data will establish when changes to the program are necessary.

Comparison of data obtained at the beginning and end of the IEP period allows student progress to be assessed.
