The Department of Education and Training's Child Safety Director works collaboratively with Child Safety Directors from other departments to help prevent, detect and respond to harm or risk of harm among children and other young people.
Child Safety Directors have been appointed in the government departments identified below. These departments have been identified as playing a key role in the delivery of child protection services. Child Safety Directors form a network that meets regularly to improve systemic coordination of child protection initiatives.
