Aussie Optimism Program

Roberts, Bishop, Kane, Rooney, Pintabona, Nesa, Drake-Brockman & Cross, 2000

Aussie Optimism External Link provides teachers, practitioners and parents with practical strategies and resources for developing children's social competence, self-management, and positive thinking in every day life, during times of stress, and across transitions, like the move to high school. The programs are developmentally appropriate for children in middle and upper primary, and lower secondary school.

This table should be used in conjunction with the Years 1 to 9 Health and Physical Education Essential Learnings and the Scoping the Essentials Years 1 to 9. It is to be used as a guide only.
