Education Queensland produces the following publications for the information of those working with students with disabilities and students with special needs.
OnLine is a professional journal focusing on educational and assistive technology for students with disabilities. It is written specifically for teachers, therapists and others working in schools and is an effective way to keep up to date with what is happening in the rapidly changing world of educational and assistive technology. Written by educators, for educators, it contains articles, reviews of the latest hardware and software, and general information related to the use of assistive technology to support students in their educational programmes.
OnLine is published electronically on a monthly basis and is available free of charge via a subscription process.
Talkabout is a professional development journal produced three times a year by speech-language pathologists throughout Education Queensland, in conjunction with Disability Services Support Unit.
Each issue focuses on a particular theme related to supporting students with special needs in communication.
