I am pleased to be able to share that a new agreement for all Queensland state school teachers is in place following its recent certification by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.
The Department of Education and Training Teachers' Certified Agreement 2010 provides a range of improved work conditions, including a salary increase of 12.5 per cent over three years and a new Experienced Senior Teacher classification.
The agreement was endorsed by more than 86 per cent of respondents in a ballot of state school teachers earlier this year.
